How to Unlock iPhone Passcode

HOW TO UNLOCK IPHONE PASSCODE

iPhone Passcode

If the passcode is forgotten, the actual behaviour of the iPhone depends upon its setup. The passcode is not used by default. However, about forgotten passcodes, Apple notes:

You can disable your iPhone for longer periods until you can continuously try again to type the incorrect passcode. You can’t try it again until you had logged in to your device, which you last synced to [when it was synced to the computer], after so many failed attempts.

Note: After ten consecutive incorrect login attempts, you can set up your device to delete it. The default configuration is disabled. Tap Settings > General > Passcode Lock. You can activate it by these steps.

You need to restore your device from the machine you last synced with [or iCloud] if you cannot remember your passcode. You can reset your passcode and re-sync system files (or restore from a backup). You can open the system and delete the passcode if you retrieve it on some other machine that was never synchronized with the device, but the data would not exist.

If you forget the passcode or password on the manual for each model, Apple will show you how to open the iPhone. It is available both on page 155 and on the business support section for the iPhone 5c, for example. However, since this is a question that is most much asked, you will find the official answers and extra support below.
